What Happens If........

You lose your job?

Your friends are far away?

Your boyfriend is 12 states away from you?

You feel like you are going to pop your bubble at any second because life can kinda get you all worked up?

What I learned working as a preschool teacher.....when things go awry, always remember: STAR.

Things will be ok. Remember what you are aiming for in life. Never get so upset or frustrated that you can't even think. Working with young children has taught me a lot about being softer, kinder, more patient, trusting, gentle, and loving. No matter how crazy a situation may seem, it will all change within a matter of seconds, minutes, or even a few days. Giving things time will help ease frustrations. I always have things in my every day life that take the life right out of me because I overreact to them is such a strong way. I'm learning to slowly and patiently deal with the bummers in life. My niece tells me at the end of her day, she recounts her experiences and names them "Bummers and Blessings." Every day we have them. Every day we have a choice to react differently. I'm learning to let go and stop worrying so much!

How do you cope with life's Bummers and Blessings?
